Kevin is a veteran writer and producer of TV series and interactive e-learning with experience in corporate and entertainment environments.

He began his television career as a staff writer for the ABC sketch comedy series, Fridays, and then for NBC's Saturday Night Live, where he wrote for two seasons during the Eddie Murphy-Billy Crystal-Martin Short years. Kelton later served as a writer-producer for Night Court, Boy Meets World and A Different World before advancing to Co-Executive Producer for Universal Studios. Kevin has credits on 22 television series and over 400 TV episodes, including specials for Steve Martin and Jay Leno. He has written articles and screenplays for National Lampoon, and has penned three novels and a how-to book on TV comedy writing.

Currently, Kevin focuses his time on teaching and mentoring writers through the UCLA Extension Writers' Program and offers one-on-one coaching for writers who prefer to study privately and get his expert feedback on their scripts. See the Teaching page for more details.
